Balancing movement

The techniques in the Balancing Movement class develop muscle elasticity, flexibility, and relaxation. The exercises in the class help prevent and correct postural imbalances caused by muscle asymmetry, while also enabling the body to move optimally and efficiently. The body care techniques are drawn from yoga, Pilates, Ido Portal methods, the Alexander technique, and various Eastern movement disciplines. Mobility is primarily trained by engaging and activating the muscles. In addition to mobility, the class focuses on functional movement, control, and balance.
