Dance and movement improvisation is a creative movement class that introduces the body’s expressive possibilities and the basic elements of movement such as space, time, dynamics and energy. The classes include individual and group exercises through which presence is explored, body impulses are listened to and how to react to them are practiced.
The teaching also includes the basics of contact improvisation, which explores body weight distribution and interaction through touch. The exercises develop creativity, imagination, composition and the ability to express oneself in a diverse and spontaneous way.
The class is suitable for anyone who wants to deepen their own body awareness and release their creativity through movement. The class is shared with adults.
Equipment: Flexible, comfortable clothing and bare feet or socks.
