Hobby support

We are developing a new hobby support program at the Helsinki Dance Institute to make dance classes accessible to more children and young people, regardless of their family’s financial situation.

Support can be granted to children and young people under the age of 18 for the autumn term of 2025 (August 11, 2025 – January 7, 2026). Our goal is to secure ongoing funding for those in need (from companies, organizations, or private individuals) starting from the spring term of 2026, for as long as the need continues.

Support can be granted to both current students and new applicants. You can apply already in the spring. The first decisions regarding support will be made in May, and you can register for classes as soon as the 2025–2026 timetable is published. The timetable will be released at the beginning of June.
